Creamy prawn and tomato pasta

2 x De Costi Seafood Raw Prawn Meat 280g
1 tbsp olive oil
1 brown onion, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tin (400g) crushed tomatoes
1/3 cup cream
1/3 cup shredded basil
320g fusilli pasta, cooked according to packet instructions, ½ cup pasta water reserved
Parmesan Cheese, grated, to serve
- Heat olive oil in a frypan over medium to high heat. Add onion and garlic and sauté for 3-5 minutes until soft and translucent. Add raw prawn meat and pan fry until prawns are cooked through.
- Pour in crushed tomatoes and cream and stir to combine. Turn the heat to low and allow to simmer for 10-15 minutes until the sauce has reduced slightly and thickened.
- Add cooked pasta, reserved pasta water and shredded basil. Stir well to coat the pasta in the sauce.
- To serve, sprinkle with grated Parmesan Cheese
