Crumbed Whiting Sliders
Serves: 5 people (as a starter) | Prep time: 5 minutes | Cook time: 10 minutes | Cook method: Air fry
1 packet De Costi crumbed whiting fillets
10 brioche slider buns
¼ cup mayonnaise
1.5 cups iceberg lettuce, shredded finely
3 slices cheddar cheese, cut into quarters
20 bread and butter pickles
- Place whiting fillets in air fryer tray – cook for 10 minutes at 200ºC until fillets are crunchy and golden.
- Meanwhile, halve slider buns. Add a teaspoon full of mayonnaise and some shredded lettuce.
- Add one fish fillet, topped with a quarter of a cheddar cheese slice and 2 pickles. Place bun on top. Spear with a small bamboo skewer to keep slider together. Repeat with remaining buns. Serve immediately.
