Prawn Caesar Salad with homemade croutons
Time: 20 minutes
1x 260g De Costi Cooked and Peeled Prawns
2 small Cos lettuce, washed & chopped
2-3 Eggs, boiled
200g Bacon, cooked to your liking
1 cup Caesar dressing
¼ cup of Parmesan cheese flakes
Home made croutons;
Sourdough bread, sliced into bite size pieces.
2 tsp Garlic powder
2 tsp Italian seasoning
2 tbsp Olive oil
Salt & pepper
METHOD (Stove Top & Oven 180°C)
1. To make homemade croutons; line a baking tray with baking paper. Toss bread and olive oil together in a bowl, add garlic powder, Italian seasoning and salt & pepper. Lay bread onto baking tray. Bake for 10 minutes until crunchy.
2. In a large bowl toss together De Costi Cooked & Peeled Prawns, cos lettuce, bacon, Caesar dressing and parmesan. Toss until it’s all covered in dressing. Add in croutons.
3. Serve with eggs topping with more dressing if needed.
