Salt and Pepper Squid Burgers with Spicy Slaw
Serves: 4 people | Prep time: 10 minutes | Cook time: 7 minutes
2 tbsp olive oil
2 packs De Costi Salt and Pepper Squid
1 cup shredded cabbage
½ red onion, finely sliced
1 carrot, julienned
¼ cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp hot chilli or sweet chilli sauce
4x brioche buns, sliced in half
- Heat olive oil in a frypan over medium heat. Add salt and pepper squid and fry until lightly golden, approximately 3-4 minutes each side. Remove and set aside on paper towel.
- In a large bowl combine cabbage, onion, carrot, mayonnaise and chilli sauce. Toss to combine.
- Divide slaw among brioche buns and top with warm salt and pepper squid. Serve immediately.
